The design and development
process involves two main tasks. The first task is design
and development of the product. Although we study any drawings
supplied by the customer, we determine the product design
while considering the function of the product as well as cost
performance. We then present a design proposal to the customer.
Increasingly, the product design task involves first consulting
with our customer regarding not only the shape and size of
the product but factors related to the function of the product,
such as strength, material properties, application, durability,
etc. Then we create two-dimensional drawings based on the
provided three-dimensional data and make a prototype to be
presented to the customer.
The second task is in-house development of equipment and
tooling (punches and dies) necessary for mass production.
Since parts developed by FUSERASHI are generally produced
on a per order basis, it is necessary to modify our production
line for each different product. Our long years of experience
and abundant know-how enable us to always satisfy our
customers'
needs with respect to both product design and the development
of production equipment.
